In 2025, the district courts of Bishkek processed 105,530 cases, according to information presented by the chairman of the Bishkek City Court, Talaybek Abykeev, at a meeting dedicated to the results of the local courts' work in the past year. The event was held under the leadership of Mederbek Satyiev, the head of the Supreme Court.

Compared to the previous year, the number of cases reviewed increased by 12,841.

Out of the total number of cases handled by the district courts, 8,204 were subject to appeal.

The Supreme Court noted that 97,326 court decisions remained unchallenged, indicating a high level of public trust in the courts' decisions.

Gratitude was expressed to the judges whose decisions were often upheld by higher instances. Judges with low performance indicators were recommended to undergo special training programs at the Higher School of Justice, as reported by the Supreme Court's press service.

Mederbek Satyiev also commented on the suggestions and remarks received from citizens through the QR system. The main issues included a lack of courtrooms for hearings, delays in case processing, and dissatisfaction with the work of the judicial apparatus.

As a result of the meeting, directives were issued for 2026 aimed at improving the quality of judicial proceedings, strict adherence to case processing deadlines, and the formation of uniform judicial practices.
