At a meeting in the central office of the Judicial Department, chaired by Mederbek Satiev, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, important issues concerning the digitalization of the judicial system were discussed.

As reported by the press service of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, the main focus was on the implementation of audio and video recording in courtrooms.

Out of 193 courtrooms designated for judicial proceedings, 157 are already equipped with the necessary recording systems, while the installation of these systems is in the final stages in 40 courtrooms. In some locations, the recording equipment has malfunctioned, and negotiations are currently underway for the supply of necessary spare parts for repairs.

Questions regarding the material and technical support and physical training of court bailiffs were also raised. The head of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized the importance of these aspects and instructed to prepare proposals on these issues as soon as possible, highlighting the significance of the role of court bailiffs in maintaining order during court sessions and in conducting forced appearances.
