A kindergarten for children with disabilities has begun construction in Bishkek

A kindergarten for 250 children will be created with special conditions for the development and rehabilitation of children

In Bishkek, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, laid a capsule in the foundation of the new kindergarten "Ümüt chyragy," intended for children with disabilities. This was reported by the government press service.

Kasymaliev emphasized that this project demonstrates attention to the needs of children and their families. He noted that the opening of such an institution is of great importance for both society and for parents raising children with special needs.

The head of the cabinet stressed that the creation of the kindergarten is part of a broader strategy to improve preschool education in Kyrgyzstan. In 2024, the coverage of children by preschool institutions was 28.3%, and in 2025 this figure increased to 51%. Currently, there are over 2,300 kindergartens operating in the country, with a total of more than 320,000 children. By 2030, the authorities plan to increase the coverage level to 80%.

The construction of the kindergarten is being carried out with the support of Artvin Development Company.

According to the project, the new kindergarten will be two stories, accommodating 250 children, with a total area of over 3,400 square meters. It will include classrooms, a gym, a speech therapy room, and even a petting zoo, providing diverse conditions for the development of children.
