In early January, they noticed preparatory work, which was later confirmed by urban defender Iskander Burkanov.

According to Burkanov, this building was removed from the register of architectural monuments back in 2018. The process occurred in accordance with the law, as the residents of the building themselves appealed to the city hall requesting it to be recognized as emergency.
One of the owners had been striving for several years to have the property excluded from the list of monuments. Later, he purchased all the apartments and became the sole owner of the land.
Iskander Burkanov provided a copy of the prosecutor's response, which confirms the legality of the owner's actions from the perspective of urban planning norms.
Despite the fact that the building had historical value for the residents, it is no longer protected at the legislative level, which allowed the owner to initiate its complete demolition.
