According to the press service of the authorized representative of the head of state in the Chui region, residents of Shopokov are actively reporting problems related to the operation of a local enterprise engaged in metal processing and rebar production.
Residents express concerns about the potential negative impact of the factory's activities on the environment and public health. As local residents claim, the issue of smoke pollution and the deterioration of the ecological situation has been raised by them for a long time, and the presence of smog in the air has been recorded, the statement says.
In response to these complaints, Azamat Osmonov visited the enterprise to familiarize himself with its operations, check the emission system, and assess the presence of purification and filtering installations. He instructed the relevant state agencies, including environmental and sanitary services, to conduct a comprehensive inspection of its activities, evaluate legal and environmental aspects, and take necessary measures within the framework of the law based on the results obtained.
Additionally, an assessment of the actions and inactions of the responsible authorities will be conducted.
