



As part of a raid conducted on January 16 in the waters of Lake Issyk-Kul, inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service discovered and seized an old Chinese synthetic net measuring 400 meters in length. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, this equipment was used illegally and posed a serious threat to the fish resources of the region.
The main objective of the raid was to prevent illegal fishing, protect aquatic biological resources, and ensure the ecological safety of Lake Issyk-Kul.
