The mayor noted that the new route will become a key international transport corridor, which will help alleviate existing traffic and improve access to the air hub.
According to Junushaliev, the road will be extended to Profsoyuznaya Street, significantly improving connectivity between districts and reducing the load on existing transport routes. He also mentioned that the project has been postponed multiple times, and residents have expressed concerns about its implementation.
The mayor added that work on the project is currently ongoing:
- the project documentation has been completed;
- budget documents have been prepared;
- the Ministry of Transport has included this facility in the construction plan.
Junushaliev assured that the construction of the road will definitely be completed and it will become an important element of the capital's transport infrastructure.

Earlier, the Ministry of Transport presented a map of the alternative route to Manas International Airport. According to the plan, the road will pass through the villages of Ozyornoye, Mramornoye, then Vinogradnoye and Polevoye.
