Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the project related to the construction of a new road to Manas International Airport.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the minister met with Absattar Syrgabaev and other representatives of the ministry, who provided details about the upcoming works, the goals of the project, as well as its technical specifications and implementation stages. The planned four-lane road will be 17 kilometers long.

On the section starting from the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Boulevard, a two-level transport interchange will be included, as well as lighting and landscaping.

Further research and design works will be carried out.

In addition, a two-lane road and an 8.7-kilometer bridge are planned to be built in the Chui region, which will connect the villages of Mramornoe and Vinogradnoe.

This project aims to reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and improve infrastructure, as well as to develop interregional connections.
