At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, Deputy Burun Amanova expressed concern about the sale of foreign sweets and snacks, especially near schools and kindergartens. She noted that she has received numerous complaints from parents who are worried about the increasing amount of foreign products in stores.

“Parents report that they cannot always control what their children are buying, including candies and toys. They are interested in whether the sanitary and epidemiological service checks such products as they enter the market and where the permits for their sale come from,” Amanova added.
