During a working trip to the Ak-Su district, the presidential envoy in the Issyk-Kul region visited the hockey team and got acquainted with its activities.
At the meeting, the envoy emphasized that the team would receive state support, including 11 athletes who will receive modern equipment and uniforms. The creation of an ice arena for the team's training is also planned.
Coach Salamat Abdyrahmanov noted that the girls learned to play hockey on their own on the frozen ice and continue their training despite the difficulties.
“We are grateful for the support. But if we are only provided with an ice rink, we will only be able to practice in winter. It would be wonderful if an artificial ice rink and a gym were built for us so we could train year-round. I hope our future plans will be taken into account,” he explained.
