The opening of the "Dream Ice Stadium–2025" has become an important event, as the project offers the residents of Ulaanbaatar the largest outdoor ice rink, areas for sledding, and snow slides for children, as well as equipped relaxation spots with hot drinks and full lighting. The organizers emphasize that this complex is designed as a place for family leisure and will operate year-round.
"The central stadium should be at the heart of urban life, providing residents with convenience for its use at any time of the year," noted Lkhagvadulam Dorjdhavaa, acting director of Central Stadium LLC. She added that this project, initiated by the local community with support from the private sector, will serve as an incentive for youth sports participation and help reduce the time children spend in front of screens during vacations.
Main goals of the project:
- Encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle among youth;
- Creating conditions for family leisure in the center of the capital;
- Fostering a positive atmosphere that helps reduce screen dependency;
- Strengthening the role of the Central Stadium as a public space accessible year-round.
The "Dream Ice Stadium–2025" will operate until March 10, 2026.
