At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Ulukbek Karybek uulu asked the first deputy minister of labor, social security, and migration, Kamchybek Dosmatov, about measures to protect the rights of workers who work remotely.

In response, Dosmatov stated that recent changes to the labor code introduced the concept of "remote work," which will allow for the conclusion of appropriate labor agreements between workers and employers.

The deputy minister noted that the labor code adopted in 2004 did not take into account new professions and forms of work, such as remote work.

Additionally, Karybek uulu clarified who would protect the rights of employees in cases of violations by employers. Dosmatov explained that there is a Labor Rights Protection Service operating under the ministry, which will handle such cases.
