The minister noted that one of the main problems in the healthcare sector is the late diagnosis of serious diseases, such as cancer, when patients often seek help at stages III-IV. He emphasizes that this is related to the lack of an effective laboratory diagnostic system.
“Correct diagnosis is half the success in treatment. For timely and accurate detection of diseases, it is necessary for the state to have a powerful laboratory base,” noted Dosmambetov.
To this end, the Ministry of Health is developing a project to create a modern state reference laboratory in Bishkek, which will be equipped with high-tech equipment, have developed logistics, and a digital infrastructure. The project involves building the laboratory from scratch, equipping it with modern equipment, creating a regional network, establishing its own logistics, a quality control system, and implementing a digital platform for interaction with medical institutions.
