
A raid aimed at combating poaching took place in the Issyk-Kul region. Specialists from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Environmental and Technical Supervision, operating under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, confiscated illegal fishing nets and organized their disposal, as reported by the agency's press service.
Together with the tourist environmental police, inspectors conducted a series of preventive and control measures aimed at preventing illegal fishing and cleaning the waters of the lake.
During the raid, a hidden net was discovered between the villages of Oruqtu and Zharkynbaev, which was immediately confiscated. Additionally, all illegal nets collected since the beginning of January were handed over to the local emergency situations department for further destruction in accordance with established regulations.
