While inspecting the dishes in the school cafeteria, Toktorbaev was shocked by the state of the baked goods and the staff's work. "This is shameful! Look at this stone bread. Take it home and give it to your child — they wouldn't even eat two pieces. Are you really serving such samsa? Try offering this to the teachers — they would refuse too. How can you prepare such food in a school?" he voiced his doubts.
During his visit, the mayor demanded a complete inspection of the food preparation process, the quality of products, and compliance with sanitary standards. He noted that over 1,100 children are enrolled in the school, and any violations in the area of nutrition are unacceptable.
Additionally, he instructed to investigate the details regarding the commercial facility located on the school grounds. "The school is a social facility. Any construction on its territory must be legal and coordinated. Check the documents and provide a complete package," he added.
Jenishbek Toktorbaev also reminded that local authorities have intensified control over the territories of educational institutions to prevent land grabs and illegal construction.
As a result of the raid, the city administration instructed the relevant services to conduct a re-inspection of the kitchen, the condition of the equipment, and the storage conditions of the products, as well as to present a report on the legality of the commercial building.
The city administration promised to keep the public informed about the measures taken.
