In the village of Zhetigen, located in the Aiyl Aimak of Ak-Turpak in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, about 800 children are studying, but there is no school in the settlement itself. As a result, the children are forced to travel to other villages for classes every day.

Local residents report that students reach educational institutions by buses, which make up to 10 trips daily. Unfortunately, sometimes children are late for lessons, and some return home after dark. Not only students but also teachers regularly travel to neighboring settlements for work.

Kanzat Shakirova, a resident of the village, noted that she has been working in the schools of neighboring villages for 7 years, currently serving as the director in the village of Ming-Chynar. "Every day I have to travel 14–15 kilometers to work and back. More than 20 teachers from Zhetigen are also forced to make such trips. There are about 50 educators in the village who could work here. Building a school and a kindergarten would be the right solution so that children could study closer to home, and teachers could work on-site," she added.

According to her, students from Zhetigen attend educational institutions in the villages of Zhash-Tilek, Ak-Tilek, Oryuk-Zar, and others. To avoid daily trips, some children stay overnight with relatives or grandparents in neighboring villages where there are schools. Local residents also mention that land plots have already been allocated for the construction of a school and kindergarten in Zhetigen.

The Kadamjai district education department reported that requests for the construction of an educational institution have been sent to the relevant authorities. In 2023, the Aiyl Okmot allocated 2 hectares of land for the school and 1 hectare for the kindergarten.

According to official data, 1000 land plots have been allocated in Zhetigen for the construction of residential buildings. Currently, 1726 people live here, and the number of households is 420. Students reach schools by minibuses, which were provided on the initiative of the president and operate in three shifts, making up to 10 trips a day.
