According to the adopted document, the plot, which is state-owned, was reclassified from the categories of "agricultural land" and "forest fund land" to a new category — "land for industry, transport, communications, energy, defense, and other needs."
As part of the transformation of the plot, the following is provided:
- 14.61 hectares of irrigated land, 1.36 hectares of gardens, 2.87 hectares of unused land, and 0.25 hectares of rain-fed land;
- 12.5 hectares of forest fund land belonging to the Chatkal Forestry, including areas used for pastures, roads, and strips along rivers.
In addition, the local state administration of Chatkal is instructed to:
- make changes to land accounting;
- ensure the use of the plot in accordance with its designation;
- restore lost agricultural land at the expense of less productive land;
- develop and approve urban planning documentation;
- ensure archaeological oversight during earthworks and construction;
- reclaim the plot in case of its improper use or lack of use.
The resolution will come into effect ten days after its adoption.
