The head of state interacted with citizens and, in response to their questions, drew attention to the behavior of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.
He noted: "When 100–200 people express discontent, deputies instantly spring into action, grab the microphone, and start speaking, trying to look good in front of their voters. It doesn't matter whether they are right or wrong, or whether it will benefit the country. We hear: 'No, leave it as it is, reduce it to two or three months, you fools, enemies of the people.' Therefore, I urge you to carefully study the issues before raising them. You need to measure seven times and cut once. It is important to weigh whether this can be beneficial or, on the contrary, harmful. If we make mistakes, that's okay, but I am not calling for silence. I was a deputy myself and never succumbed to populism. To avoid being in an awkward situation, I always thoroughly researched information and justified my words. When such issues arise, I suggest we gather together, discuss them with the people and representatives of the cabinet of ministers," Japarov emphasized.
It should be noted that the president likely referred to the demands of deputies to shorten the training periods for drivers in driving schools.
