He noted that during the organizational and staffing reforms in the GKNB, the focus will be on traditional and proven methods of operational and analytical work.
“It is necessary to depoliticize the GKNB, which implies freeing it from the influence of political parties, ideologies, and any opportunistic interests. The State National Security Committee should not serve as a political tool,” Shabdanbekov added.
It is worth reminding that earlier President Sadyr Japarov emphasized the need to revise the approaches in the work of law enforcement agencies: “I instructed the law enforcement agencies: ‘In the fight against crime and corruption, you have a green light, work without ‘mask shows’, without PR, calmly and professionally.’”
According to the president, quickly restoring order is one thing, but achieving a systemic victory over corruption requires professionalism and a rejection of demonstrative actions.
