Lieutenant General Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, head of the GKNB, held a meeting with representatives of the business community in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the agency's press service.
According to the directive of the country's president Sadyr Japarov, starting from January 2026, it has been decided to cease unjustified inspections of entrepreneurs.
As part of this initiative, Shabdanbekov gathered representatives of the business community to discuss pressing issues.
He noted that the economic well-being of the country is closely linked to the normal functioning of businesses, the creation of new jobs, and the increase in tax revenues. The head of the GKNB emphasized that the meeting would serve as a reliable forum for open dialogue, where entrepreneurs could express their opinions and discuss existing problems.
Shabdanbekov stated that honest entrepreneurs should have the opportunity to work freely and confidently. The main task of law enforcement agencies is not to create obstacles but to protect the economy. He assured that the GKNB would not intervene in business without justification, and in cases of pressure on entrepreneurs, they could count on protection. The only requirement remains to conduct activities openly and honestly.
At the meeting, business representatives also presented their proposals and comments. They expressed gratitude to the GKNB leadership for their openness in dialogue and emphasized the importance of transparency during inspections. Additionally, they suggested more active communication with the business community regarding legislative changes.
Shabdanbekov added that any previously recorded illegal actions by officials or administrative barriers for entrepreneurs would be addressed strictly in accordance with the law. At the same time, he warned that if any entrepreneurs are found to be engaged in illegal activities or involved in criminal schemes, they would also be held accountable.
In conclusion, the chairman of the GKNB noted that only with mutual respect and partnership between the state and business can sustainable economic development and prosperity of the country be ensured, urging entrepreneurs to act honestly and diligently.
