The document aims to improve the quality, transparency, and unification of the services provided for both citizens and businesses. Primarily, it concerns services related to motor transport and driver's licenses.
The project proposes the implementation of standards for the following key services:
- issuance and expedited issuance of driver's licenses;
- registration and re-registration of vehicles;
- express registration of cars with the issuance of license plates;
- temporary registration of vehicles for foreign citizens;
- registration of tractors and special equipment;
- verification of information about vehicles and driver's licenses;
- imposition of restrictions (seizure, bail) on vehicles;
- conducting exams for obtaining driver's licenses and tractor driver licenses.
It is important to note that after the transfer of vehicle registration functions to the Presidential Administration, the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing was established, which will be responsible for implementing the new standards.
It should also be mentioned that new proposals, including expedited issuance of driver's licenses and accelerated vehicle registration, have already been added to the Unified Register of State Services.
According to the attached note, the implementation of this document will not require additional budget expenditures and will not lead to negative social or legal consequences.
The project is available on the Unified Portal for public discussion of regulatory acts. After its approval, the new order will come into effect seven working days after its official publication.
