After Kuvanychbek Kongantiev prematurely resigned from his position, the mandate of a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh for the Lenin single-mandate constituency No. 21 in Bishkek remains vacant. Initially, it was assumed that this seat would be taken by Chingiz Aydarbekov; however, the process of transferring the mandate has been prolonged.

According to information provided by 24.kg from the Central Election Commission (CEC), a number of details are currently being clarified, after which a final decision on the transfer of the mandate will be made. The commission emphasized that Aydarbekov's candidacy will be discussed only after all checks are completed.

Chingiz Aydarbekov previously held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh in the previous convocation. In the last parliamentary elections, he received 6,259 votes.

Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, elected as a deputy for constituency No. 21, received more than 13,000 votes. He submitted his mandate on March 10, and the next day he was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). During the investigation, it was revealed that he is suspected of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots, involving affiliated individuals and legal entities.
