In 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office identified over 24 thousand violations of legislation

During the meeting of the committee on judicial and legal issues, law enforcement, combating crime, and countering corruption of the Jogorku Kenesh, Attorney General Maksat Asanaliev reported that in 2025, over 24,000 violations of legislation were identified, committed by both state bodies and local self-government bodies.

To eliminate and prevent such violations, more than 12,000 acts of prosecutorial response were initiated. Among them are 570 criminal cases and 771 lawsuits filed in court.

As a result of reviewing these acts, more than 34 billion 827 million soms were returned to the state treasury, of which over 1 billion 243 million soms were returned in cash, and more than 33 billion 584 million soms were returned in kind.

The Attorney General also noted that 6,932 employees were held accountable for disciplinary violations. In addition, 3,227 officials were held accountable under the Code of Offenses, paying fines totaling approximately 16 million soms to the state.

Although violations were recorded in all state and municipal bodies, the highest number was observed in the territorial divisions of ministries and departments, as well as in local self-government bodies and law enforcement agencies.
