A resident of the capital, A.I., contacted the police for assistance due to an attack by strangers. The young man stated that on December 19, 2025, he was beaten and threatened with a weapon.
During the investigation, it was revealed that on December 6, the complainant was detained by operatives of the Drug Control Service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. Upon arrest, he was found to be in possession of tablets of a potent medication. This incident was registered under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
During interrogation, the detainee indicated that he received the tablets from A.M., born in 1995. She was arrested on December 29 and placed in a temporary detention facility.
According to the investigation, A.M.'s husband, N.A., born in 1997, decided to intimidate the suspect in order to force him to change his testimony in the criminal case.
The collected materials were classified under Articles 280 ("Hooliganism") and 355 ("Threat or violence in connection with pre-trial proceedings") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
