In the Chuy region, in the Sokuluk district, a tragedy occurred in which three children drowned, reports the local internal affairs department.
According to information from the police, on February 2, a report was received at the Sokuluk district police department that three young children had fallen into a body of water in the village of Maiskaya in the Zhany-Pakhtinsky ayil okmotu.
A investigative operational group was immediately dispatched to the scene, where it was determined that the bodies of all three children had been retrieved from the canal. Unfortunately, by the time the ambulance crew arrived, they had already shown no signs of life.
As a result of the investigation, the identities of the drowned children were established: they were born in 2021 — M.N., S.E., and I.M.
Neighbors on the street reported that the children often played together, their families are relatives and live nearby. The canal into which they fell was located about 300 meters from their homes.
It should be noted that the canal was used for irrigating agricultural lands and had no fencing. Moreover, the edges of the canal were covered with ice. Until 2 PM, no one noticed the children were missing. One of their friends, M.I., also born in 2021, could not explain what happened but tried to inform his mother, after which she, not understanding him, followed him. Upon approaching the canal, the woman discovered the bodies of the children and began to call for help.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue, where forensic examinations were ordered. An investigation is currently underway, and a corresponding legal decision will be made based on the results.
