On June 21, 2025, a resident of the village of Luxembourg filed a complaint with the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Ata District. He reported that at the end of January 2025, a citizen I.A. along with accomplices deceitfully took possession of his apartment. They subsequently registered the property in their name and resold it to third parties.
The victim suffered damages amounting to 80 thousand dollars, which is equivalent to 6 million 991 thousand 200 soms at the current exchange rate.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers were able to identify and detain the suspects: I.A., born in 1995, and M.E., born in 1994. They were placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
