According to reports from BBC News, the son of the Crown Princess of Norway has begun giving testimony in a court case related to accusations of rape.
Marius Borg Høiby, who is 29 years old, faces 38 charges, among which the most serious are one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault.
During his appearance in court, he removed his glasses and wiped away tears. At the first hearing, which took place the day before, he stated that he does not plead guilty to the rapes, but partially admits his guilt regarding physical violence against his former partner.
He could face up to 16 years in prison.
