Construction of residential complexes without necessary parking spaces has been recorded in the city
Serious violations in the construction process of residential buildings were discovered in Osh, as reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to the committee, design organizations and construction companies used schemes based on providing false information about the planned facilities regarding the provision of parking spaces for residents. Based on such data, projects were approved by the responsible architectural officials of the city.
Construction companies, aiming for profit, built commercial facilities while their obligations included creating necessary parking spaces for residents.
Moreover, city architectural officials in Osh were involved in collusion with representatives of construction firms.
This led to systematic violations of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of urban planning, which, in turn, caused delays in construction, dissatisfaction among investors, worsening traffic conditions, the formation of traffic jams on the streets, and additional strain on the urban infrastructure.
Based on the collected materials, the GKNB initiated a criminal case, within the framework of which the first deputy chief architect of "T.Y.K." and an architecture specialist "T.Z.M." were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
