According to reports, maximum sentences are being sought for almost all defendants, except for two brothers, Islomov, and their father, who helped the terrorists escape in a Renault Symbol car, as well as Alisher Kasimov, who provided them with housing. For these three, the prosecutor requested 19 years and 11 months, as well as 22 years and 10 months of imprisonment.
Additionally, the prosecution insists on revoking the Russian citizenship of those defendants who acquired it during their lifetime.
The trial, which has become one of the most resonant, began on August 4, 2025. There are 19 people in the dock, 13 of whom are accused of direct involvement in the terrorist act, while the others are charged with aiding terrorist activities, illegal arms trafficking, and training with terrorist intentions.
According to the investigation, the direct perpetrators of the act of violence are Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakram Rachabalizoda, and Muhammadsobir Faizov, some of whom have admitted their guilt.
From the case materials, it follows that out of 149 people present in the hall during the terrorist attack, about 70 died as a result of the fire: they had no gunshot or other visible injuries. The main cause of death was thermal inhalation injuries combined with carbon monoxide poisoning.
Recall that on March 22, 2024, a terrorist attack occurred at the "Crocus City Hall" in the Moscow region. Thousands of spectators attended the concert. Four terrorists — Muhammadsobir Faizov, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Shamsidin Fariduni, and Saidakram Rachabalizoda — invaded the building around 7:00 PM, opening fire and setting it on fire. As a result of the attack, 145 people died.
The terrorists were apprehended in the Bryansk region, located 100 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. All four are charged under the criminal article "Terrorist Act" and may face sentences ranging from 25 years to life imprisonment.
It is worth noting that the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" was claimed by the group "Islamic State." Subsequently, the FSB detained 11 people, most of whom turned out to be citizens of Tajikistan.
