
According to the information received, on January 19, information was received about a conspiracy of unknown individuals intending to sell firearms at the livestock market in Tokmok. In this regard, a corresponding statement was registered at the Tokmok police department, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 267, concerning illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition in accordance with the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the operational activities, police officers conducted a controlled purchase.
During a search at the address of the main suspect, identified as S. Z., the following items were discovered and seized: a rifled weapon of caliber 5.6 mm, a shotgun model IZH-17 of caliber 12, a barrel of a shotgun of caliber 16, over 30 cartridges and shells of various calibers, as well as components for reloading cartridges. Additionally, 29 homemade knives, two registration plates, books with religious content, and dried plant material, the type of which is yet to be determined, were found.
Two citizens were detained: S. Z., born in 1982, and T. K., born in 1994, who were placed in a temporary detention facility.
Judicial examinations have been appointed for the seized property, and investigative actions are ongoing.
