As reported by Turmush, the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region confirmed the information about the ongoing activities.
Currently, 18 citizens registered in the Karakol City Police Department are identified as members of an organized criminal group.
On February 13, as part of an operation aimed at preventing crimes committed by members of organized criminal groups, several suspects were taken to the Karakol City Police Department for explanatory conversations.
In addition, during raids conducted based on gathered operational information, searches were carried out in the homes of individuals registered as members of organized criminal groups. These actions were sanctioned by a ruling from the Karakol City Court.
As a result of the search in the home of A.A., born in 1979 and residing in the village of Tash-Kiya, the following items were found:
- 1 rifled weapon "SKS" caliber 7.62 mm;
- 1 rifled weapon "TOZ-8";
- 39 cartridges of caliber 5.45 mm;
- 27 cartridges of caliber 7.62 mm;
- 1 pistol of unknown make and 2 boxes of cartridges for it;
- 15 rubber bands for traumatic weapons of unknown caliber;
- 4 cartridges for "TOZ-8";
- 20 cartridges for smoothbore weapons;
- 2 knives.
All found items have been seized and will be used as evidence, with appropriate forensic examinations appointed.
Currently, verification activities are ongoing.
