In addition, the GKNB's internal security service conducted an internal investigation, as a result of which:
- six employees were dismissed;
- another six were removed from their positions and transferred to the GKNB's disposal;
- one candidate was excluded from the list of applicants for service in the GKNB;
- eight employees received disciplinary sanctions.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the Military Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan initiated a criminal case against Zhakypbekov under Article 336, Part 1 "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is accused of organizing a stable corruption group that includes both GKNB employees and civilians engaged in personal enrichment.
