According to reports from Turmush, the accident occurred on March 1 at the 100th kilometer of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway, resulting in the deaths of two people.
As reported by the Kemin Territorial Hospital, five individuals were taken there as a result of the incident. One of the victims, a 20-year-old resident of Bishkek, B.E., is in extremely critical condition and has already undergone emergency surgery.
With various injuries, the following individuals also sought medical assistance:
- V.O., male, born in 2003;
- S.Ch., female, born in 1987;
- Ch.E., male, born in 1999.
Currently, one of the victims continues treatment in the surgical department of the Kemin Hospital. Another patient, after receiving first aid, refused hospitalization and went to Bishkek for further treatment on his own.
Another victim was transported by a private ambulance to Bishkek City Hospital No. 4 (BNTCTiO) for specialized treatment.
Turmush previously reported that the incident occurred at approximately 16:30 on the bypass road. The driver of the "Hyundai Sonata," while overtaking a "Nissan Serena," entered the oncoming lane and collided with an "Audi C4" that was coming towards him.
According to the press service of the Traffic Police of the Chui Region, as a result of the accident, the passenger of the "Audi C4," T.B.Sh., born in 1958, died at the scene before the ambulance arrived. The driver of this vehicle, K.Sh.N., born in 1951, also died on the way to the hospital without regaining consciousness.
Currently, an investigation into the causes of the collision involving three vehicles is ongoing.
