According to those present at the scene, the ambulance crew arrived only three hours after the accident. Rescuers, according to their information, reached the site after two hours, traveling from the direction of Korday.
According to the Main Department of Road Traffic Safety of the Chui region, a report of the accident on the Bishkek — "Warm Springs" highway was received at the Alamedin district police department around 15:30. As a result of the incident, an investigative operational group was formed for further investigation.
It has been preliminarily established that at the 15th kilometer of the highway, a Hyundai Sonata, driven by 23-year-old S.B., was traveling from south to north. At some point, the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and fall into the Alamedin River.
As a result of the accident, the driver and his passengers, two girls aged about 20-25 years, died at the scene from their injuries. The identities of the girls have not yet been established.
In addition, passenger J.A., born in 2000, was hospitalized with various injuries and is currently in the intensive care unit of the Chui regional hospital.
In connection with the incident, necessary forensic examinations have been appointed. A thorough investigation is underway to clarify all the circumstances of what happened, after which a procedural decision will be made in accordance with the law.
