According to Euronews, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has issued a warning for civilians in Iran. The statement claims that the Iranian leadership is using densely populated residential areas, such as Dizful, Isfahan, and Shiraz, to launch drones and ballistic missiles. In this regard, the American military strongly advises citizens to stay in their homes, as the Iranian regime endangers the lives of innocent people.

CENTCOM representatives noted that Iranian forces are deliberately jeopardizing the safety of residents in the Middle East by striking civilian targets, including airports, hotels, and residential neighborhoods. "The U.S. is taking all possible measures to minimize harm to the civilian population; however, it cannot guarantee their safety near Iranian military facilities," the statement emphasizes.

It is worth reminding that on March 8, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates reported new missile attacks from Iran, including on civilian infrastructure. Information from UAE authorities indicates that Iran launched more than 100 missiles and drones. Bahrain also accused Tehran of attacks on civilian targets, including one of the desalination plants, although water supply in the country continues to remain normal.

On February 28, Israel and the United States carried out strikes against Iran. Donald Trump announced his intentions to destroy the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

In response to these actions, Iran began striking territories in Israel and other Middle Eastern countries where American military bases are located. The strikes were directed at Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai (UAE), as well as Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the U.S.-Israeli operation, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed. His wife, Mansure Khodjasteh, also died from her injuries.

Donald Trump stated that the military operation in Iran would last about four weeks. In response, the Iranian side declared jihad against the U.S. and Israel, stating that negotiations are impossible.

The conflict in the Middle East has international repercussions, including affecting Kyrgyzstan. Currently, thousands of tourists are stranded in the UAE due to the situation. Contact details for embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad can be found here.
