According to a statement from the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the attack was directed against American military personnel. Video footage from the scene shows thick smoke. However, it is still unclear whether the drone strike caused the damage or if it resulted from debris falling after an interception carried out by the United Arab Emirates' air defense forces.

Later, Dubai authorities confirmed that the debris from the drone indeed damaged the facade of Marina 23 following a successful interception.

In an official statement on social media, authorities noted: "The debris resulting from the interception caused a minor incident on the facade of the tower in the Dubai Marina area. The situation is under control."

Additionally, on March 7, a report was registered in Dubai regarding a fatality due to falling debris. The incident occurred in Al-Barsha, where debris fell on a car, resulting in the death of the driver, who was of Asian descent.

The IRGC also reported that on the same day, Iranian military forces carried out strikes on several targets associated with the U.S. and Israel.

In their statement, Iranian authorities indicated that "during this multifunctional operation, military sites in Haifa, Israel, were attacked with new solid-fuel missiles 'Khaybar Shekan,' which have guidance capabilities. Strikes were also conducted on facilities supporting American military forces at the Salman port."

Since February 28, Iran has been responding to attacks from the U.S. and Israel by launching missile and drone strikes against Israel and other Gulf countries where American bases are located.

Furthermore, as a result of Iranian attacks, Dubai International Airport was damaged. Debris from intercepted drones also caused a fire at the Burj Al Arab hotel and a blaze near the Fairmont hotel on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah.
