According to forecasts, from March 15 to March 18, 2026, a deterioration in weather conditions is expected, which may lead to avalanches in mountainous areas and on certain highways, as well as the formation of snow drifts, ice, and black ice.
The most dangerous areas where such phenomena are expected include:
- The Bishkek — Osh road, between the 198th and 260th kilometers (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- The Myrza-Ake — Kara-Kulja — Alaykuu section, 55–115 kilometers;
- The Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route, 292–305 kilometers (Dolon pass);
