The presiding judge issued a decision to mitigate the preventive measure, replacing it with a written undertaking not to leave.

For reference, Mahabat Tajibek kyzy was arrested in January 2024 along with ten employees of Temirov Live. They were charged with organizing mass riots. On February 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan reviewed the appeals of three of the detained journalists and upheld the decisions of previous instances: Mahabat was sentenced to six years in prison, Azamat Ishenbekov to five years, and Aika Beishikeeva was given three years of probation. Additionally, Aktilek Kaparov was sentenced to three years of probation and did not appeal this decision. The other seven defendants were acquitted due to lack of evidence of a crime. On March 10, the Supreme Court sent the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy for a new review.
