The Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic has expressed serious concern regarding the behavior of a teacher during a Kyrgyz language lesson at Bishkek School No. 87.
It has been reported that the ministry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has promptly initiated an investigation into all circumstances surrounding this incident.
To investigate the situation at School No. 87, a special commission has been established under the Department of Education of the Bishkek City Hall. This incident is under the personal control of the Minister of Education.
Regular activities to prevent violence against children are being conducted in the republic, and the ministry plans to strengthen its efforts in this direction.
"Psychologists will be sent to educational institutions to conduct training aimed at preventing similar situations and creating a safe educational environment," the agency clarified.
