The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting an investigation into a criminal case related to large-scale fraud. During this process, former deputy Akkulu Berdiev was detained.
According to the investigation materials, in 2022, Berdiev, using deceptive schemes, unlawfully acquired significant monetary funds and disposed of them for his personal interests.
It is also known that earlier, law enforcement agencies received complaints from his wife regarding instances of domestic violence. These statements have been registered and are under review in accordance with established procedures.
The work of the investigative authorities continues, and procedural actions are being actively carried out.
