The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the start of an investigation into a case of large-scale fraud. According to law enforcement agencies, in 2022, B. A. T. deceitfully acquired funds and used them for personal needs. The suspect in this case is a man born in 1966, which coincides with the data of the former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, Berdiev Akkulu Tagaevich. Currently, investigative actions are underway.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained former deputy Akkulu Berdiev. In addition, the Ministry noted that earlier there had been complaints from the wife of this man regarding domestic violence. These materials have been registered and are currently under review in accordance with the law.
Recently, Bermet Ormonova, who identified herself as the wife of the former deputy, released a video appeal to the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev. In this appeal, the woman reported systematic instances of physical abuse by her husband.
Ormonova, who is 60 years old and the mother of five children, claims that her husband has repeatedly kicked her out of the house and has used violence against both her and the children. She emphasized that she was forced to turn to the public due to threats that, according to her, endangered the life and safety of her family. She also accused her husband of polygamy.
