The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting an investigation into a criminal case related to large-scale fraud. During this process, the ex-deputy Akkula Berdiev was detained.
According to preliminary data, in 2022, Berdiev unlawfully acquired a significant amount of money, which he subsequently used for personal purposes.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs had previously received complaints from his wife regarding instances of domestic violence. These complaints have been registered and are under review in accordance with current legislation.
The work of the investigative authorities is ongoing.
