The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has confirmed the information regarding the tragic death of a citizen of the country in the St. George's Bay area in Malta.
After receiving the report about the incident from the Maltese authorities, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy promptly began cooperation with local competent institutions. This is necessary to organize all procedures related to the repatriation of the deceased's body to her homeland, including assistance from compatriots who are in Malta.
At the moment, the embassy continues to address repatriation issues and provides full consular support. It maintains constant contact with the relatives of the deceased, ensuring they receive the necessary information and support during this difficult time.
