“During the tests, the drone discovered a fishing net on the bottom of the lake, approximately 100 meters long, which had been there for many years, and lifted it to the surface from a depth of 50 meters. This confirmed the high efficiency of this technology,” the press release states.
This drone is planned to be used for ensuring safety on water bodies, as well as for conducting search operations and protecting the ecosystem of Lake Issyk-Kul.
It is also reported that in the Issyk-Kul District, 110,000 meters of synthetic nets have been confiscated, and 11 criminal cases have been initiated, which have been sent to court.
