Law enforcement agencies established that the incident occurred near a café on Selsovetskaya Street. Preliminary data suggests that A. K. witnessed an unknown man beating his wife and decided to intervene. In response, the attacker assaulted him, inflicting two knife wounds to the shoulder area, after which he fled the scene.

Based on the incident, a criminal case was initiated under part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Hooliganism." Necessary examinations have been appointed.
During operational-search activities, the suspect was detained. He turned out to be a 22-year-old man named A. A. He was taken to the investigative department and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
