A police officer and an accomplice were detained in Bishkek for extortion

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, a police officer A.E.B., working in the Oktobrskiy district, and his accomplice T.A. were apprehended. They were detained while receiving 350,000 soms from a citizen, Ch.M. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

According to the agency, the extortion occurred under the threat of accusing Ch.M. of a crime related to an alleged rape involving T.A. As a result, T.A. and police lieutenant A.E.B. conspired and demanded the specified amount for a favorable resolution of the issue.

In accordance with the decision of the Lenin District Court of Bishkek, both individuals were placed in the GKNB detention center.
