During an inspection conducted by the city prosecutor's office, it was established that from 1999 to 2002, officials from Naryn and the Naryn region committed serious violations of land legislation. As a result of these actions, as noted in the statement, three land plots were unlawfully transferred to private ownership: one with an area of 1,500 sq. m, which belonged to the theater, a plot on S. Orozbak Street with an area of 3,948 sq. m (located in the territory of the flour market), and another plot on At-Bashy Street with an area of 495 sq. m.

“As a result of the activities carried out by the prosecutor's office, the total area of the returned land plots amounted to 5,943 sq. m, and their market value is estimated at 185 million 920 thousand soms,” the press release states.
