During the investigation, one of the specialists from the Aitmatov branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography (E.A.T.) attempted to evade responsibility by offering a bribe to a GKNB employee. On January 20, 2026, during the transfer of an amount of 100,000 soms, he was caught in the act.
Currently, the detained individual has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the initiated criminal case, aimed at establishing all the details of the crime and identifying other involved officials.
