The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan has uncovered the illegal allocation of land plots in the territory of the Kara-Buurinsky ayil okmotu in the Aitmatov district of the Talas region. As a result of document forgery, 43 citizens were provided with plots totaling 10 hectares and 75 ares.
According to preliminary data, a total of 56 land plots were illegally allocated in a similar manner.
An employee of the local branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, E.A.T., offered a bribe in order to stop the inspection regarding his activities and avoid criminal liability.
On January 20, 2026, E.A.T. was detained while handing over a bribe of 100,000 soms to an employee of the GKNB as part of a criminal case that had been initiated.

Currently, the suspect is in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing to determine his role in the commission of the crime and to identify other officials involved in these illegal activities.
