In the Aksy district, an incident occurred involving a man who decided to wash a paint-stained mat in a mountain stream, which led to him receiving a fine.
According to information from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the reason for the inspection was a video that spread on social media. The footage shows a man, known as B.u.B., pouring paint on the mat and then rinsing it in the river, which sparked a heated discussion among the public.

During the inspection, it was established that the video was filmed for advertising purposes to promote carpet products in the high mountain pastures of Sary-Oy in the Aksy district.
As a result of the investigation, the man was issued an administrative fine of 10,000 soms under Article 236 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on violations. An explanatory session was also conducted.

The ministry emphasized that the actions captured in the video contradict environmental norms. "The citizen acknowledged his mistakes and posted a public apology on his Instagram page, where he provided clarifications regarding this incident," the official statement said.

The ministry urges all citizens to adhere to environmental norms when using natural resources.
